Storks (2016)

Is this… diversity? People of colour? Same sex parents?

also can I say that the diversity and same sex parents are realistic?! Its not some suspended belief system where all the babies look like their parents no matter what even if they’re same sex? It seems most of the hetero couples have babies that look similar to them, and some of the same sex couples have babies that look drastically different from them and I think thats great because it feels realistic. It isn’t some animated world where the babies are all going to look like the parents no matter what, they took into account what same sex couples have to go through to get children, maybe adoption or other route. Despite all the babies being delivered by storks they still made that tiny detail at the end to normalize that same sex couples can have kids? Like maybe not in the heteroconventional way but they still can. I dunno Im terrible at explaining things but I feel like it even normalizes adoption and other options in the subconscious. I also really love that they put a single mum in there. ❤️ I just really loved the storks film. Can’t wait to buy it.
